Career Conversion Programmes
The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for SME Professionals helps PMETs build new skills to take on new job roles in SMEs. It prepares new hires transiting into an SME work environment by providing the necessary foundational skills across areas like human resource, admin and operations, finance, sales and marketing, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation via the Place-and-Train (PnT) modality. The CCP also support employers in reskilling existing employees via the Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) modality
All eligible PMETs nominated by their employers will undergo structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) with their hiring company and a 3-day workshop (for new hires only).
This programme will end on 31 December 2026.
The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Human Capital Professionals aims at equipping local PMETs to convert into Human Resource (HR) job roles via the Place-and-Train (PnT) modality, as well as supporting employers to reskill existing employees to take on growth HR roles or growth HR skills via the Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) modality.
All eligible PMETs nominated by their employers will undergo training comprising On-the-Job Training (OJT) to acquire foundational or functional HR competencies as per IHRP’s Body of Competencies (BOC) and growth HR or Emerging HR Skills and Competencies.
This programme will end on 31 August 2026.
The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Sustainability Professionals equips local PMETs to take on sustainability or sustainability-related roles through the Place-and-Train (PnT) modality. It also supports employers in reskilling existing employees via the Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) modality.
All eligible PMET nominated by their employers will undergo On-the-Job Training (OJT) and undergo at least one approved sustainability-related course during the OJT period to acquire key sustainability competencies.
This programme will end on 14 April 2027.
The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Security Officers (SOs) supports companies in reskilling or upskilling their SOs to take on new or enhanced job role(s).
Participants will undergo either a 1 or 2-month training programme under the Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) modality for existing employees.
This programme will end on 23 March 2027.
The Career Conversion Programme for Public Transport Professionals (CCP PTP) supports individuals in reskilling and transitioning into public transport roles within Singapore’s land transport sector. It helps build a strong pipeline of skilled talent for both conventional and emerging transport sub-sectors, including bus, rail, station operations, customer service, technical and supervisory roles.
Eligible newly hired individuals nominated by their employers will undergo structured classroom training, On-the-Job Training (OJT)/supervised field training with their hiring company, depending on the role and training plan.
This programme will end on 30 June 2028.
The Career Conversion Programme for Autonomous Vehicles Specialists (CCP AVS) supports individuals in reskilling and transitioning to take on autonomous vehicle roles within Singapore’s land transport sector. It helps build a strong pipeline of skilled talent for autonomous vehicle operator, technician and engineering roles.
Eligible newly hired individuals nominated by their employers will undergo structured classroom training (aligned with LTA’s competencies), On-the-Job Training (OJT)/supervised field training with their hiring company, depending on the role and training plan.
This programme will end on 30 June 2028.
