SNEF has been appointed by Workforce Singapore (WSG) as the Programme Manager to administer the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Built Environment (BE) Professionals. Rising construction demand will be a key factor in the continuous growth in the Built Environment sector, which will drive the adoption of new technologies and digitalisation to help create higher-skilled jobs that will appeal to more Singaporeans and sustain industry growth in the longer term.
Structured for the Built Environment industry, this programme equips mid-career Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) with foundational training as well as necessary competencies to take up roles in broad-based job functions such as leadership and management, business administrations (human resource/ finance/ sales and marketing), and operations (technical/ engineering).
The CCP for BE Professionals helps companies alleviate manpower challenges through a 3-month programme, comprising of 15.5 days facilitated classroom training & self-directed e-learning as well as On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the hiring company.
√ Registered or incorporated in Singapore with a valid Unique Entity Number (UEN) with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority
(ACRA);
√ Offer a full-time PMET position employment contract on permanent terms or on contract terms that are no less than one (1) year,
with a minimum monthly gross salary of $2600;
√ Offer employment directly related to the job which the CCP is for, with the remuneration that is aligned to the market rate;
√ The participating company must have the knowledge and capacity to provide structured On-the-Job training for the candidate;

√ Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident aged 21 years and above;
√ Graduated or completed National Service for at least 2 years, whichever is later prior to or at the point of application;
√ Must be a newly hired PMET for not more than three months, assessed to meet the conversion criteria and nominated by an eligible company for the CCP;
√ Assessed to meet the career conversion criteria and nominated by an eligible participating company for the CCP;
√ Must not have prior working experience in a similar capacity in the built environment industry;
√ Must not be a shareholder of the participating company, or its related companies;
√ Must not be related to the owner(s) of the participating company; and
√ Must not be immediate ex-staff of the participating company and its related companies.

Upon completion of the programme and having met all the training requirements, participating companies can also enjoy up to 90% salary support for each PMET enrolled onto the CCP.
