NTUC JOB SECURITY COUNCIL(JSC) SUPPORTED BY SNEF

To offer more holistic support to employers and enhance the ecosystem to provide better job-matching for employers and workers, the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and e2i come together to strengthen the Job Security Council. This partnership arose from the one of the recommendations of the NTUC-SNEF PME Taskforce. Through this initiative, SNEF can better Support Employers Transformation (SET).

SUPPORT FOR JOB REDESIGN UNDER PRODUCTIVITY SOLUTIONS GRANT

The Support for Job Redesign under Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG-JR) is an enhancement to MTI’s existing Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), and will run from Dec 2020 to Nov 2024.​ The PSG-JR Grant aims to encourage enterprises to enhance the quality of jobs by making redesigning jobs easier with JR consultancy support​ and increase employee productivity and value of jobs in support of business growth and transformation. Enterprises can ​tap on a list of pre-approved JR consultants to embark on JR projects to redesign work processes, tasks, duties and responsibilities, to drive business transformation,​ and the Business Grants Portal (BGP) as a one-stop business grant application portal to identify JR consultants, apply and claim for PSG-JR.

JOBS-SKILLS INTEGRATOR FOR RETAIL INDUSTRY

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), in partnership with the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), is the appointed programme partner for Jobs-Skills Integrator for the Retail Industry (JSIT-R). As JSIT-R, SNEF is a dedicated intermediary providing retail employers with end-to-end solutions for workforce transformation, employee training and job matching services.

CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME (CCP) FOR SME EXECUTIVES

Administered by SNEF, in collaboration with the Workforce Singapore (WSG), the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for SME Executives is structured to equip newly hired PMETs to acclimatise to an SME working environment and acquire necessary foundational skills in various business functional areas such as human resources, finance, admin and operations, sales and marketing.

The participants will go through 3 months of relevant classroom training and undergo structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) with the hiring company. Participating companies can also expect to receive salary support grant through this programme.

This programme will end on 31 December 2023.

CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME (CCP) FOR PROFESSIONAL EXECUTIVES

The Career Conversion Programme for Professional Executives aims to support mid-career Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) to transit into business support roles such as Administration, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and Project Management, across all sectors.

Employer nominated PMETs will undergo structured On-the-Job-Training (OJT) and be equipped with at least one digital skill competency (e.g. data analytics, technology applications) upon programme completion.

This CCP also supports companies whose existing employees are impacted by business transformation and requires job redesign and reskilling.

CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME (CCP) FOR HUMAN CAPITAL PROFESSIONALS

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Human Capital Professionals aims at equipping local PMETs to convert into Human Resource (HR) job roles via the Place and Train modality, as well as support employers to reskill existing HR professionals whose jobs may be at risk of displacement via the Job Redesign (JR) Reskilling modality.

All eligible PMETs nominated by their employers will undergo structured On-the-Job-Training (OJT) and be equipped with at least one digital skill competency (e.g. data analytics, technology applications) upon programme completion.

Participating companies can also expect this program to receive salary support grants.

This programme will end on 31 December 2023.

CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME (CCP) FOR BUILT ENVIRONMENT PROFESSIONALS

Administered by SNEF, in collaboration with the Workforce Singapore (WSG), the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Built Environment Professionals is structured to equip newly hired mid-career Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) with foundational training as well as necessary competencies aligned to the Built Environment industry.

The participants will go through a 3 months of relevant facilitated classroom training, self-directed e-learning training and structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) with hiring company. Participating companies can also expect to receive applicable course fee and salary support grants through this programme.

This programme will end on 30 September 2023.

CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME (CCP) FOR SUSTAINABILITY PROFESSIONALS (EV SPECIALISTS)

Administered by SNEF, in collaboration with the Workforce Singapore (WSG), the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Sustainability Professionals (EV Specialists) aims to equip mid-careerists with the necessary skills to embark on a career in EV maintenance and repair. Companies can also tap on this programme to reskill existing employees to take on this EV specialist role.

The participant will go through either a 6-month training programme under the Place-and-Train (PnT) mode for new hires or a 3-month training programme under the Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) mode for reskilling of existing employees.

Participating companies can also expect this program to receive salary support grants.

This programme will end on 31 December 2025.

CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME (CCP) FOR SECURITY OFFICERS

Administered by SNEF, in collaboration with the Workforce Singapore (WSG), the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Security Officers (SOs) aims to support companies to reskill or upskill their SOs to take on new or enhanced job role(s).

The participant will go through either a 1 or 2-month training programme under the Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) modality for existing employees.

This programme will cease accepting enrolments come 31 August 2025.

NEW PART TIME RE-EMPLOYMENT GRANT (PTRG)

The New Part-time Re-Employment Grant (PTRG) will provide funding support of up to $125,000 to employers who offer part-time re-employment, other flexible work arrangements (FWAs) and structured career planning (SCP) to senior workers.

WORKPLACE OUTREACH WELLNESS

Workplace Outreach Wellness (WOW) is a programme specially curated by the Health Promotion Board (HPB).  It includes a range of effective workplace health and wellness activities, which aims to promote healthy behaviours and equip staff members with the information and abilities they need to make healthy lifestyle decisions.

As of March 2023, Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), is one of the appointed project managers for the WOW programme.  We are pleased to be supporting workplaces in achieving their goals towards creating a healthier, productive, and more engaged workforce.
