Programme Introduction

Course Objective

The foreign workforce makes up about one-third of Singapore’s labour force. The Services sector Dependency Ratio Ceiling (DRC) has been reduced in two steps, effective 1st January 2020, to manage the foreign workers growth. It is, thus, critical that the employment of foreign workers are managed effectively, for productivity purpose.

This half-day workshop will focus on managing foreign workers, specifically the Work Permit Holders.

The objectives are to equip the participants with the requisite knowledge on the relevant regulatory requirements and procedural guidelines on employment of their Work Permit Holders and enhance their capability in addressing employment-related issues.
