The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) are pleased to organise for our members a Briefing on the Main Features of the New Work Injury Compensation Act on Thu, 10 Oct 2019.

The Work Injury Compensation Bill was passed in Parliament on 3 Sep 2019. The new Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) will take effect on 1 Sep 2020 and offers the following benefits for both employees and employers :

i. Faster and simpler claims processes for everyone ;
ii. Enhanced protections for employees ; and
iii. More certainty for employers

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will be presenting on the main features of the new WICA.

All employers are urged to attend this important briefing.
