The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) will be organising a SME Workshop on Digitalisation, Government Support Programmes And Hiring Solutions on Thursday, 28 November 2019.
At this session, the Lifelong Learning Institute invites employers to an exclusive preview of their newly renovated facility; The LLearning Express – an experiential learning concept space designed with the users in mind to encourage learning, cultivate collaboration and inspire ideation and innovation. Equipped with smart technology, our thematic learning spaces aim to transform the way learning takes place and to create a conducive learning environment and experience.
Employee expectations have progressed over the years, with the changing demographics of our workforce. Learn how technology can help to place “HR Customer” in the center and reshape HR processes to improve employee productivity and keep them engaged on a daily basis.
SG-Verify is a facility for businesses to perform secure identity verification and data transfer through QR scanning. SG-Verify will provide businesses an alternative for visitor registration and access, customer acquisition at roadshows or frictionless login.
SMEs could develop a strong Singaporean core in a manpower-lean economy through enhanced programmes under the Adapt & Grow Initiative. In addition to sharing on employment facilitation assistance for SMEs, Workforce Singapore will brief on the various programmes such as Enhanced Career Support Programme, Career Trial and Mycareersfuture.sg.
After which, employers will hear how the various support schemes can better recruit, train and retain your PMETs. The P-Max Place-and-Train Programme aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs. Upon completion of the programme, companies will receive a one-time Assistance Grant of $5,000. Companies applying under the P-Max track for Singapore Citizens PMETs aged ≥ 50 would be entitled to an additional $5,000 assistance grant capped at $10,000 per company. Lastly, the Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) which aims to help jobseekers reskill and acquire necessary knowledge and competencies to take on new jobs. Eligible companies will receive training grants and salary support of up to $18,000.
