The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) will be organising a SME HR Series on Digitalisation and Government Support Schemes on Tuesday, 29 January 2019.
As organisations embark on their digital transformation journey, business leaders tend to focus on the technologies and neglect the human element. In the core of transformation of any sorts are the people in the organisation. While organisations move towards a new world of work, HR needs to become the change agents and take the lead in the transformation process. Learn from JustLogin on how HR can lead the way through recruiting the right people, developing digital culture and implementing digital HR.
As workplaces become more dynamic, less conventional and more remote in operations and structure, new approaches are required to manage and develop human resources that are not only competent but also cohesive and congruent. ByCorps will share on how digitalisation of key human resource functions such as learning and development can help leverage on the strengths of the new age work environment.
SMEs could develop a strong Singaporean core in a manpower-lean economy through enhanced programmes under the Adapt & Grow Initiative. In addition to sharing on employment facilitation assistance for SMEs, Workforce Singapore will brief on the various programmes such as Enhanced Career Support Programme, Career Trial and Jobsbank.
Lastly, SNEF will share the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme which aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs and help SMEs better cope with the challenges of talent recruitment in an increasingly tight labour market. Upon successful completion of the programme, SMEs will be eligible for a one-time Assistance Grant of $5,000. SNEF will also share through the Digitalisation Journey on how organisations are able to engage their workforce through comprehensible steps and concurrently be future ready.
