Programme Introduction

CorpPass is a single corporate digital identity for businesses and other entities (e.g. non-profit organisations and associations) to transact online with Government agencies. As CorpPass is being progressively rolled-out across all Government agencies by December 2017, find out how you can set up CorpPass in order to login and transact with Government digital services. This briefing is recommended for individuals who are responsible for overseeing and conducting their Government-to-Business (G2B) transactions for their entity. This includes Business Owners, Corporate Secretaries, and individuals from Corporate Services functions (Admin / Finance / Human Resources).

Following which, FindSGJobs.com will share on the Art of Social Media Recruiting – How SMEs can tap on a variety of social media tools to widen your network and attract the right candidates. Through the presentation, companies will learn how to broadcast jobs into their social media presence with one click and create targeted ads to access a pool of potential talents. By doing so, employers can successfully position the company as an employer of choice and create a strong first impression among passive candidates.

Next, participants will also learn about the various WSG programmes under the Adapt and Grow Initiative on recruitment, training and retention of PMETs. SNEF and SME Centre@SMCCI will cover the various programmes as follows:

A. P-Max Place-and-Train Programme
– Aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs,
– Receive $5,000 upon successful completion of the programme.

B. Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) *NEW*
– Help jobseekers reskill and acquire necessary knowledge and competencies to take on new jobs.
– Eligible companies will receive training grants and salary support of up to $36,000.

C. Work Trial Programme
– Allows employers to assess a job seeker’s fit via a cost-free short-term work stint before offering employment
– Strengthen the employability of locals

D. Career Support Programme (CSP)
– Encourages employers to tap on wealth of experience that mature PMETs can bring to the workplace,
– Candidate unemployed for six months or more, in mid-level jobs that pay $3,600 will be given wage support of up to $42,000.
