Programme Introduction

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) together with ByCorps will be organising a SME HR session on Employee Engagement and Retention. At this seminar, Beekeeper Communication will share the importance of employee engagement, methods and approaches to boost employee engagement, retention and productivity.

To keep up with current changing trends, cultivating the habit of learning is important. By equipping employees with salient soft skills such as effective communication, conflict management and positive thinking, employees are empowered to be critical problem solvers and effective communicators which would help them perform better at work. Employees achieve self-actualization as they grow in terms of personal development and are more likely to stay and contribute back to the company. At this session, ByCorps will share on how companies can better retain and engage with your employees.

Following which, Dr Leow from Great Eastern Insurance will share on what companies should look out for in their employee benefits plan so as to provide them with comprehensive benefits at a good value.

SAP Asia will share on the needs for employee retention and engagement to stay competitive and relevant amidst the tight labour market among Singapore SMEs. In addition, SAP Asia will address these issues and share how you can better manage your workforce by building up your employer branding and establish a strong culture of engagement.

SMEs could develop a strong Singaporean core in a manpower-lean economy through enhanced programmes under the Adapt & Grow Initiative announced by the Ministry of Manpower. In addition to sharing on employment facilitation assistance for SMEs, Workforce Singapore will share on the various programmes such as P-Max Place-and-Train Programme, Career Support Programme, Professional Conversion Programme and Work Trial.
