Programme Introduction

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), in partnership with the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is pleased to organise the 11th edition of the annual National Security Conference (NSC) on Tue, 26 Sep 2017.

The conference will be graced by Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for National Security, Mr Teo Chee Hean. Minister for Manpower, Mr Lim Swee Say would attend as well.

As a follow-up to SG Secure launch, NSC 2017 will be focusing on the implementation and capability development that Singapore companies should prepare ahead of terror attack. The conference will bring together practitioners from various industries to share their observations and measures to prepare business leaders and employers against the threats of terrorism, as well as to stay resilient after an attack. Participants will also be invited to visit the exhibits to understand how they can quickly adopt measures to better address security issues and related risks for their organisation.

Dr Freddie Tan, Vice President, Data Protection & Compliance, CapitaLand Limited. With vast experience in overseeing CapitaLand’s Business Continuity Management (BCM), policy and procedures, Dr Tan will share with participants his insights about managing crises and ensuring business continuity in the Group’s operation, arising from terror-related incidents.
