Programme Introduction

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) is pleased to organise a Briefing on the Amendments to the Employment Act (EA) and Proposed Amendments to the Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) on Wed, 20 Mar 2019.

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will share on the proposed amendments for WICA. The compensation limits for WICA were last reviewed in Jan 2016 and are due for revision by 2020. The other key areas of WICA to be reviewed include increasing the mandatory insurance coverage and allowing faster processing of WIC claims.

At this briefing, MOM will also share on the main changes of the EA which will be effective from 1 April 2019.
