SNEF Corporate Learning Centre presents:
Employers provide leave benefits to their employees for compliance with employment legislations and more importantly for attracting and retaining employees in the organisation. Having adequate leave days could help to meet employees’ personal and family commitment. Therefore, some employers would provide employees with leave benefits beyond what is required under the law. In addition, some employers would implement certain non-statutory leave benefits to ensure that the well-being of the workforce is well looked after.
This workshop aims to provide a clear understanding of the provision of statutory leave entitlements in the Employment Act and the Child Development Co-savings Act and some special situations of handling these leave such as proration, encashment and forfeiture of leave.
