The Minister for Manpower had on 12 November 2024 introduced the first of two Workplace Fairness Bills in Parliament. The first Bill sets out the scope of what the Workplace Fairness Act will cover and what employers are expected to comply with.
The second Bill titled the Workplace Fairness (Dispute Resolution) Bill was introduced in Parliament on 14 October 2025. This second Bill sets out the process for individuals to make private claims against (prospective) employers if they experienced workplace discrimination.
