Bite-Size Solutioning Workshop on : Managing Employees’ Leave Benefits
60 Paya Lebar Road
#13-45 Paya Lebar Square - Lobby 2
Employers provide leave benefits to their employees for compliance with employment legislations and more importantly for attracting and retaining employees in the organisation. Having adequate leave days could help to meet employees’ personal and family commitment. Therefore, some employers would provide employees with leave benefits beyond what is required under the law. In addition, some employers would implement certain non-statutory leave benefits to ensure that the well-being of the workforce is well looked after.
This course aims to provide a clear understanding of the provision of statutory leave entitlements in the Employment Act and the Child Development Co-savings Act and some special situations of handling these leave such as proration, encashment and forfeiture of leave.
The course would also examine other common non-statutory leave benefits such as prolonged illness leave.
Lastly, the course would introduce the Tripartite Standard on Unpaid Leave for Unexpected Care Needs.
HR Managers, Supervisors and Executives are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop.
Mix of lectures, case studies and discussions.
